Chequered Flag International Inc is pleased to offer this 1970 Mercedes 280 SL in Red with Parchment. Beverly Hills owner had it last 24 years. Absolutely original rust & accident free example with 97. 39 miles from new. Automatic. A/C. 2 tops. Becker radio ( works nicely with power antenna ).  Perfect body with older (somewhat faded) paint. Original fenders and trunk floor ( the main items that have generally been replaced ). Lovely interior with seats recently recovered in leather and all wood refinished to a high standard. older soft top - good and fuctional but not perfect. Runs and drives superbly - lots of power. crisp shift. good steering and excellent brakes. This is as good and honest as these get. I love this car. to paint it would be a shame but the new owner probably will. we have partial books and copious reciepts dating back 25 years. drive it or collect it - you can't go wrong! Inspections encouraged. all sales as-is. Sales tax and license fees due if delivered in California.
