I am selling this rare. low numbered 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible that I have owned since 1986. It is a very low serial numbered car and upon disassembly we found many parts dated April 1964. It has been professionally restored. New parts include but not limited to. nbsp;quarters. floors. frame rails. partial rockers.  torque boxes. wheel housings. trunk floor. gas tank. trunk lid. brakes. brake lines. u joints. door skins. etc. everything was replaced with new parts. Car was media blasted and undercoated. engine compartment was blasted and epoxied. all suspension has been upgraded to modern parts (front and rear springs. shocks. upper and lower control arms. nbsp; anti-sway bars front and rear. ball joints and tie rod ends) The engine is a 260 V8 which has been rebuilt by a high end engine builder here in town with a custom cam. aluminum intake and Holley 4bbl and shorty headers with temporary exhaust. The car is in primer now and I have all interior parts. door handles. trims. a custom stereo made for mustang dash for digital media (MP 3's etc) I have most of the receipts for the parts although some were misplaced during the resto process. Only parts not included are the top and the grille. All this car needs is paint and reassembly which I no longer have time to do. Email with any questions car is located in Spencer Iowa and will not be shipped. winning bidder must pick up where is as is. Since it is disassembled a trailer will be required.   this is a link to the entire restoration process.
