Up for sale is a solid 1962 GMC 1/2 ton stepside not a C10 as listed. Ebay didn't have a listing for a Stepside truck for this year and they are basically the same trucks.   We took this one on on trade. The previous owner stated the truck ran and drove before he sent it off to a body shop. The cab is really nice and as you can see from picks floors & rockers & cab corners are solid. The bed needs new wood and the lower doors. ockers and front fenders have a little bubbles which seems to be a little rust under paint forming. these are easy repairs. overall paint quality is ok if your trying to make a driver. The truck was in a body shop that closed and all of the interior was locked in and never recovered. so that being said there is none included in the sale. The engine is a later model 350 with matching trans that starts when you poor gas in the carb. from sitting the fuel tank will need to be flushed. We decided to not put gas in it as we figured with all the ethanol fuel these days if it sat any longer it would cause more issues. We never put it in gear so we don't know if the transmission is in good working condition. The truck was converted to 12 volt and ignition is the only electrical part that we know works so we will assume all other will need attention. All the tires are bad and the brakes need work to make it street worthy. the last thing is the front & rear window where removed to paint and as the interior the body shop had them when closed up. it does have side door windows. It's getting harder to find old trucks that are not complete rust buckets and this one is a solid start! This truck has a free and clear blue Texas title. This truck is being sold as is and is listed locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Please feel free to come by and check it out or email for more info.
