 Porsche 911 Carrera SSC (Supersport)

This is a 911 Carrera with the 3. 2L Porsche engine. The supersport designation relates to the wide body and spoiler of the Turbo. it also runs the Turbo brakes and suspension. This is standard specification from the factory and has not been made to look like this. This is a totally original car that has had some minor restoration work over the years to keep it looking box fresh from the factory. Any parts that have been used have always been Porsche genuine parts. including oil filter at service intervals.

As you can see from the pictures it is in A1 classic condition and has been looked after very well.

Interior.   Full black leather interior (including all door cards & rear seats) and white piping around the front seats. The drivers front piping shows some signs of wear but there are no rips or tears in any of the leather. The car has an electric sunroof. electric windows. electric door mirrors. electric seats. extra heater controls running down between the front seats (factory fitted option I believe). This all works as it should. – I'm not 100% sure what is standard and what is a factory fit optional extra. The car has the original Blaupunkt stereo radio casette player fitted. All the gauges work as they should except the oil level gauge. this flickers up and down (next job on the list for repairing). I have been told by a local Porsche specialist this is one of two things to change. neither are too expensive and are next on the list to do. I have also been told the oil pressure gauge is more important and that works fine.

Exterior. The car is Grand prix white. factory fit white & diamond cut alloy Fuchs forged alloys (which have been totally refurbished & re-coated) with new centres (painted) original centres come with the car too. rear wipe is fitted and works. Rear spoiler is as the pictures. factory fit. tea tray/whale tail type and no signs of wear. The black absorbtion rubber bellows at the side of the bumpers were all changed a few years ago when some restoration work was carried out (previous owner who I am still in contact with. he is local to me) these were all Porsche original parts and are mint. New sills were fitted at this time and paint work was done to these. The underside of the car was heavily wax oiled at this time. there are no structural rust spots where this can be a problem on this age of 911. typically at the bottom of the windscreen pillar and where this meets the chassis floor.

Oily Bits. The service documentation shows the last service at about 20. 00 miles ago (can't read the mileage) but I have had the car serviced in October 2012 and the previous owner was a mechanic who changed the oil annually as a matter of course. He also stored the car in a heated. de-hummidified garage. The car starts easily and smokes on initial start up after being stood for a while which is a common 911 trait. The engine on these cars is very strong. it pulls well and sounds fantastic. There are 12 service history stamps. all Porsche dealers/specialists. I can't read the last service mileage properly but as previously explained the car has been serviced since then. just no stamps for it.

Overall condition. A classic car dealer has suggested this car is in A1 condition. I have had the little jobs done as and when needed. including last year replacing the gas struts on the bonnet and boot lids as these had lost their strength and the gear knob as the leather had split on the previous one. These were. as again. genuine Porsche parts from an online 911 part supplier. all invoices and paperwork will be supplied with the car. Below average mileage for its age and 92k is not a problem for this engine. There are some minor signs of stone chips along the sills but very minor and do not detract from the overall condition. There is a slight rust bubble (the only one on the car!) under the windscreen seal and if I were going to keep the car this is something I would investigate and have reapired in the next couple of years.

Any inspection is welcome and encouraged. this car is a nice example. I drove this car to the classic Lemans last year and loved it (main reason for buying the car at the time). The value of this era of 911 is currently on the up and I don't think anyone buying this car will lose out over the foreseeable future. if anything a profit could be made here.

I can send more pics of the car if required but as I've said the best way to see the condition of it is to come and see it.

I have added the offers button to see what interest there is but please do not bother sending offers if you don't really understand this car and its limited number built. I do NOT want to part exchange this. I have a day to day run about and use this car very sparingly during nice weather.

The car will only be handed over once cleared funds are received.

Thanks for looking and i will answer any questions as quickly as I can.
