1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

 

History

 

The Chevrolet Chevelle wasa mid-sized automobile produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in three generations for the 1964through 1977 model years. Part ofthe GM A-Body platform. the Chevelle was one ofChevrolet's most successful nameplates.  Bodystyles include coupes. sedans. onvertibles and station wagons.

 

1972 Chevelles woresingle-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders. outside of arevised twin-bar grille. The 1972 Chevelle series had wide enough appeal toqualify as America's second-best-selling car.  1972is the last year popular for Chevelle car collectors.

This beautiful “SSTribute” underwent a two year frame off restoration. This car came out ofMichigan. The previous owner had the car for three years. The body and framewere stripped down to bare metal and epoxy primed. All of the inner panels werefully rust proofed. It's as clean underneath as it is on the top side. The build was completed in the summer of 2013.
