We are proud to present this beautiful 1964 European-Spec Mercedes Benz 220SEB Opera Coupe.  The car is particularly rare and a yet a great driver's car by virtue of being equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission.  The wood needs work. The car remains in excellent condition and it is a pleasure to drive. It will bring a great deal of pride to the new owner in concourse or touring events.

They only made 14. 73 220SEB Two Door Hardtops in total in 1964 so these are getting hard to find especially in the NICE condition this one is in !! This car was among the last of an era of the hand built cars built by Mercedes Benz in West Germany!!  Take a look at the lines on this beauty. This is a GREAT example of the Beauty and Style of the Mercedes Benz automobiles in the 60's.  Previous owner who has owned the car since 2004 and according to him it only has approximately 79. 90 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL KILOMETERS (49. 00 MILES) SINCE BRAND NEW !! Please note the picture below of the working factory original odometer.  This Mercedes Benz 220SEB Two Door Hardtop is a NICE - DRY - SOLID vehicle and it shows !! In my opinion your not going to find much nicer original floors than the ones on this BEAUTY !! I drove this car and drives WELL. It also still retains its correctly mounted ORIGINAL Mercedes-Benz radiator shroud support mounted data and vin plates both shown in several pictures below. It has lots of get up and go and handles very well and is one of the funnest cars that I have driven lately!! If you can make it to Los Angeles. City of Canoga Park area in the next seven days please come and look this car over for yourself. you won't be disappointed!! 

This BEAUTY still retains its STRONG - Mercedes Benz -  2. 2 Litre SOHC - Inline Six cylinder motor in it that is running well and  also the motor still retains its FACTORY ORIGINAL Bosch Indirect Fuel Injection system. Sounds good too with the nearly new factory style exhaust system with a chrome tip.  The engine is backed by a SMOOTH four speed MBZ manual transmission and a BRAND NEW Professionally installed clutch which also functions well.  The Camel Cloth and Saddle Tan interior is in NICE condition with NICE Camel Cloth and Saddle Tan front bucket seats. VERY NICE Camel Cloth and Saddle Tan rear seat with a fold down center armrest. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL hand made Wood / Camel Cloth / Saddle Tan center console and armrest. nbsp;GOOD Camel carpeting. NICE ORIGINAL Mercedes Benz steering wheel. nbsp;GOOD matching Camel Cloth and Saddle Tan door panels. nbsp;GOOD ORIGINAL Hand Made Wood dash. nbsp; VERY NICE ORIGINAL Tan sunvisors. nbsp;GOOD ORIGINAL Tan headliner and VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a Kilometer Speedometer and factory Tachometer. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are still clear. bright and in NICE condition. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is still in good condition for being original.  The glass is all good however the windshield has a small crack in the lower passenger side at the bottom and is not in the line of vision.  This car is a great running and wonderful looking 220SEB 2 Door Hardtop.  This 220SEB Hardtop has sharp looks and great power as well !  These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one.  It is nicely equipped including working factory power steering. nbsp;factory power brakes with discs on front. nbsp;Aftermarket MBZ AM / FM / Cassette Radio which no longer works. good heater and defroster. nbsp;power windshield wipers. original day / night rear view mirror. trip odometer. factory gauge package including Kilometer speedometer. aftermarket power antenna / Hazard light switch. drivers' side exterior rear view mirror. and the original clock which is no longer working.  The drive train is in good working order as well as the electrical system.  This 2 Door Hardtop is SHARP !! The Bordeaux Red exterior finish on this vehicle is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with only a few small chips showing but is still bright. shiny and looks STUNNING !!  What a STUNNING color combination. how could you get any better !!  The original chrome and stainless steel on this car is in  VERY NICE shape as well as the original badging which is BEAUTIFUL !!  It has VERY NICE ORIGINAL chrome front and rear bumpers. VERY NICE  ORIGINAL stainless steel lower body moldings and the ORIGINAL chrome grill is also BEAUTIFUL. This car has one of the cleanest original trunks that I have seen in a long time that still has the original trunk rubber mat. jack and lug wrench.   Check out the FACTORY ORIGINAL - Mercedes Benz  color matched stainless steel wheel covers with four nearly new Michelin radial tires. boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and really adds to the overall cosmetic impression of this BEAUTY !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well.  It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.
