66 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE-Very Original C Code

Up for auction is my '66 Mustang.  It is a very original car with all it's Factory body panels. date codes and matching numbers. I am the very recent 4th owner of the vehicle.  The car was restored a few years ago and the gentleman I bought it from finished it off to what I can only say is near perfect.  He was a car nut and put his passion into it.  This Mustang has always been garaged and adult owned.  EVERY SINGLE ITEM ON THIS CAR WORKS AS IT SHOULD!  Lights. horn. radio. flashers. reverse lights. wiper and washers. EVERYTHING. The automatic choke works perfect. the engine starts instantly. no noises or smoke at all. and idles beautifully.  The motor runs like a swiss watch.  The transmission shifts smoothly and there are no strange noises as you drive. Period! The top is power and operates instantly and to perfection when engaged up and down.  The car is easy to park with the factory power steering.  All new carpet has recently been installed and only the driver's seat upholstery has been updated to match exactly to the vehicle.  All glass is original which is very unusual too with all the factory markings. windows roll up and down with ease. all the locks work correctly. panel gaps are perfect and nice. clearly the car has never been apart. The only thing that I know was that there are a few small metal patches welded in the trunk.  The car comes with very rare original FoMoCo side view mirrors.  When the seats were out for the re-carpeting. the original build sheet was found in the bottom of the passenger seat and it shows the numbers match the door tag.  The doors close with that distinctive "click" like when new. This is a great car to show or simply just enjoy.  It performs amazingly. There is a new battery just installed as well as a new top.  There are no drips under the car either and it has the original drive train.  I encourage you to look at this car in person if you are able.  The engine area is simply astounding. nbsp;almost hard to believe. to me. its so clean and original!!!
To be honest. I really do not want to sell this car at all. I just acquired it and the only sole reason I am selling is that I have to put a new engine and outdrive into my Pursuit boat down the cape.  It is a matter of priorities and cost unfortunately.  Please feel free to call me at 860-614-0675 if any question or to arrange a viewing.
