Seller's notes: "The car was painted a few years ago and the top color was changed to white at that time. The body is very straight with no signs of rust. (There are some chips and minor scuffs/scrapes.) The chrome grille and bumpers are in very good condition. The interior looks to be original except the seats appear to have been redone along the way. The door panels and headliner are showing some age. The dash is very nice with original working gauges. However, the radio doesn't seem to work. This car is well over 60 years old so we are selling it as-is."

This is a very nice original DeSoto Custom Sportsman and it runs great! It was a Utah car that has been part of a large Auto collection in Southern California over the last 9 years. The car looks as good as it does in the listing photos that were just taken this week. The previous owner stated that the miles were correct and the condition of the original parts on this car leads us to believe that it does have only 34. 40 miles.

Under the hood. everything in the engine compartment looks to be very original and the car still has the factory labels. tags and paint ok marking on the firewall.
We will be including some extra parts that we have for the car. (See photos)

The 1950 Sportsman is 207 inches long outstretching many Mercurys. Oldsmobiles. Buicks. and Packards. Sportsmans all came equipped with Fluid Drive. Tip-Toe Shift and the 112hp Powermaster Six had both an oil filter and air filter.
