Up for NO RESERVE auction is a VERY RARE 1968 Ford Mustang J Code Fastback with only 47K miles. According to the previous owner this is a numbers matching car. It was running a few years ago and does turn over freely by hand. Although the oil is black. it does have oil in it and it doesn't look too bad. It has ower front disc brakes. As you can see it is pretty much complete. The glass is all present and in good shape. I have the title; which matches the stamped vin on the driver apron. nbsp;the VIN tag in the passenger side windshield as well as the door tag. This is a $60K + car restored and is VERY rare.
I have the marti report for the car and it breaks down as follows: it was a Dearborn built car equipped with a 302/4 barrel engine and a four speed manual transmission. It was originally painted aqua with a black standard bucket interior and a 3. 00 conventional rear axle. It was equipped with power disc brakes. a. m. radio. tinted glass. heavy-duty battery and wheelcovers. The car will need a complete restoration as you can see. The quarters were flared at one time and are cracking. The doors shut pretty nice actually (driver door sags a little) Floors need to be replaced as well as torque boxes and front frame rails. The car is pretty rough as the pictures represent. It rolls very easily. driver front tire loses air over time.
