1966 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK, 289ci V8 MANUAL 'C' CODE IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION !!!

Mine for the last couple of years and now offered for sale. this lovely 1966 Mustang fastback. I had never really intended to sell the car just yet but its the same old story. just no time to use and enjoy it. Drag racing. NASCAR demos and all the necessary preparatory work seems to take all my spare time so I'm offering the Mustang for sale.  It is kept In my heated air conditioned garage and never taken out in the wet so it will never deteriorate.  The body is laser straight on this car and I had a very expensive respray carried out last year in it's original factory colour of Code T Candy Apple Red complemented by new interior trim in the factory correct Code 25 duo red. Trust me. the work I had done has been carried to an extremely high standard as I am very fussy. The car has only had two previous owners before me. both in North Carolina and I have colour copied the original Title to confirm ownership history and the mileage of 62. 00. When I bought the car in the States it was the very best I could find. it was completely original and un touched. all floor and trunk pans etc are original and in great shape. in fact I am more than happy to lift any part of the new carpet to reveal the factory original paint on the floors etc. the car really is that good.  When it got back to the UK all that was required was a freshen up. just paint and trim etc not a major restoration. All floor and trunk pans original as are all the panels on this car. Mechanically everything is spot on. the 289 V8 pulls like a train through a new clutch and transmission. the exhaust is new with flow master mufflers and sounds absolutely gorgeous.  Wheels are genuine A. R. E. alloys and are near new as are the BFG tyres. the fuel tank. nbsp;the brakes and some steering linkages etc. When I MOT'd the car last October the MOT examiner said it was the best he had ever seen and is absolutely spotless underneath. This really is a great Mustang that needs for nothing. just a new owner who has the time to enjoy the car as I had intended. (and be prepared to win cups and trophies at shows etc because it will!). I have the V5 in my name and all duties have been paid prior to me registering the car last year. I may consider a cheaper part exchange for something interesting but would probably prefer an outright sale.
