1967 mustang convertible that i bought as a shell in 2006. In 2006 My intention was to build the car as its seen in these pics listed. The car was stripped to the bare steel exterior by the gentleman that started the project. It was an on and off project for me over the years and as time and money prevailed I continued it accordingly. My one and only reason for sale is that I am moving into a condo and since I don't drive this to often as a family we decided this one needs to be the one getting sold. This one has the most time and money in it and we need to get some capital back. Also the items that are listed that the car needs will be minimul for a player bidding on it where for us right now its not feesable with the move etc.

Exterior

Finished in a custom british racing green over excellent straight body work using base coat clear coat from rm base / house of kolor clear

All the additions to the panels are smoothed out and have been like that since day one  6 years ago ( no cracking like most would say ) The proper bonding materials were used through the whole process

6 coats of clear applied and wetsanded and polished to a glass like finish

Carbon fiber wrap was used for the single custom racing strip that goes very well with the brand new top being that they are both the same sheen

The gt 350 lower rocker and door striping is also carbon fiber which is very subtle and blends nicely on the lower edges adding a custom yet stock appearing touch

All tony branda Shelby items are on the car

the Shelby styling kit that is there includes ram air hood. trunk. rear tail panel. lower quarter air intakes. all lighting . emblems. hood pins etc

also installed is the Shelby styling bar wrapped in black vinyl to blend into the interior.

original side glass is used and is limo tinted to give the car a sinister look when its all closed up and does have scratches that can be seen when in the right lighting

The roof is brand new and has a brand new roof frame that is not power but can easily be converted the manual works just fine and is only used when the car is parked after being used

Fits tight right now as the roof is brand new and has not yet sat out in the sun to relax the material

It rolls on 20 inch wheels that are also color matched to the exterior paint with excellent condition tires

all in all the exterior is very good and tastefully styled without crying for attention and is a definite head turner and major conversation piece and multiple award winner

Powertrain

a 392 crate motor from Ford racing this combo runs a full hydraulic clutch setup and a 5 speed tremec TKO

Stock rear end

I have not yet had the car on a chassis dyno but i am committed to as the bid goes on have the car chassis dynod and tuned for the end user before the sale complete

The motor features upgrades including

Aluminum svo heads

motorsport intake

full roller rockers

headers should be changed because they are oldschool style and have a few kinks that are restricting the flow this motor needs

full msd ignition including brand new box

4 core aluminum rad

Holley fuel pump

Holley carb

Centerforce clutch brand new

12 system painless wiring

painted motorsport valve covers

ultra clean engine bay that is 3/4 shaved an painted base clear with carbon fiber wrap giving it a nice and definelty unique look

Custom built rad support hides all the rad and openings for lighting and hood latch giving an ultra clean look

Interior

Mainly stock as I personally like the way the mustangs looked inside

Full operating Stewart Warner gauges sit in the stock locations with no cutting etc

A dash plate signed by Carol Shelby is installed and is also a great conversation piece

a custom center console was built and wrapped in vinyl and resides from the front to the back turning the back seat into buckets

new carpet and sill plates are free and clear of any rips

The seats are also clean and fresh looking

Windows do need a bit of aligning which I was planning to do in the fall as it started to get cooler

roll down windows are equipped

Heater has been deleted to free up the space for the msd etc cleaning fit on the firewall

No radio etc ( not that into that stuff)

 Under Carraige

The car is clean and free of rot

It is black and has been coated with light bed liner to prevent andy rocks and road damage

It is not a show undercarriage but equal to that you find on a good solid driver

no floor areas need replaced and im sure that somewhere down the line the have been but it is not hacked up
