Up for sale my 1979 Porsche 911 SC 3. 0 Coupe

I bought this car to restore with my sons but just don't have the time to complete it.

I started with the most expensive part. the motor. I sent the car to SSI in Maryland where they did a complete engine rebuild. Not a refreshing. I have all the receipts for the work. I have well over $16K in the motor and trans.
New gasket set
Main bearings
Rod bearings
Head studs
Case studs
Intermediate shaft bearings
Shells
Piston ring set
Etc.

I also had the heads machined with new valves. guides. seals installed.

Additionally i installed a new SSI full stainless steel exhaust system including Stainless Steel heat exchanges and heater boxes.

Rear axles were rebuilt.

Transmission was rebuilt with all new syncros.

Way too much too list.

The car is a GREAT driver and pulls hard. Shifts smooth with absolutely no grinding . Just need interior freshening to be perfect. I have a sunroof seal kit that needs to be installed along with the drivers side lock cylinder.

The paint is the original color but has had some work done. The frame is rust free and never involved in an accident. I looked for a long time to find this color. Very rare.

On Jun-01-14 at 19:49:57 PDT. seller added the following information:

After receiving a few emails i was told the factory color is not Helios blue. I'm not sure what the correct paint code is. I looked in all the places but the code is no longer on the car. The car was produced as a factory blue car. I'm just not sure what the correct color code is. Additionally the engine code revealed that the motor is from a 1981 Porsche 911.   Engine code is 63133236.   Sorry for the confusion.
