       What you are looking at is a beautiful example of a very high quality. labor and dollar intensive. restoration of a 1979 Jeep CJ5. This Jeep was restored meticulously. having every single part rebuilt. repaired. or replaced from the ground up. No shortcuts were taken.

 

       The Jeep is fitted with an AMC 304 motor that was rebuilt and beefed up only 407 miles ago. It has a three speed transmission that shifts up and down excellently. The clutch is nice and firm and does not slip whatsoever. The Jeep does have power steering and power brakes. which makes driving this very easy and fun. All the brakes lines. electrical wiring. and hoses are new as well.

 

       The interior of this Jeep is absolutely amazing. The Jeep has all brand new Bestop seats. The front driver seat has a custom adjustable bracket to allow the seat to slide forward or back for more room. The jeep has tilt steering as well. All new radio. speakers. console. dash. gauges. and bikini top were installed as well. This Jeep was designed to be show quality. but also have the capability to be driven on the weekends. Simple additions such as tilt steering. adjustable seats. and power steering/brakes all come together for a much smoother and more enjoyable ride than a standard CJ5 came off the assembly line.

 

       The Jeep has what I believe to be a four inch. BDS suspension lift kit. with all new shocks all the way around. The builder did not skip any steps in not only restoring this Jeep. but making sure it would be enjoyable to cruise around in on sunny days with his family.

 

       Luckily. the body for this Jeep was very solid before the restoration even began. This is the original. steel tub. and is absolutely rust free. The body is as straight as a whistle. and the paint is as deep of a blue as you could imagine. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this paint actually is.

 

       This Jeep is built right and ready to roll. Whether you want a Saturday cruiser. a show car. or maybe a little bit of both. This is the Jeep for you.
