1980 Z28, 4 speed, 57,219 miles, restored w/ detailed undercarriage, 325 hp LT1

        This is a quality. restored original.  We bought this car back in the early 90s shortly after is was restored. The seller is close friend and if im not mistaken he was the second owner. Shortly after buying it they completely restored it. the car was in great condition prior to restoration. the original motor was removed during the restoration. after we purchased the car it was stored in a heated and air conditioned building from around 1993 to 2009 at that point we put a motor in and put it back on the road.
        within the past few weeks we removed and rebuilt the engine which is a 1993 LT1 GM crate engine with aluminum corvette heads. nbsp;it produces about 300-325 horse power. the original transmission is still in the car.  For the most part the LT1 is stock with the exception of a Edelbrock Performer intake. Holley carb. electric fuel pump.
we had the car out over the Memorial day weekend and put about 100 miles on it and it ran great. over all the car rides real nice on the highway with the 308 gears. mechanically everything is good.

       the body. aint and stripes are in great condition  as well as the rest of the exterior. the interior is also in great condition. if anything the carpet is a little faded from the sun but no rips or tears or damage otherwise to the interior.

  Points to mention

 The undercarriage. subframe and engine compartment of this car are incredibly clean. with nice paint. nbsp;however over the years from jacking and the engine swap since restoration there are some scratches where you would expect (including but not limited to) the engine cradle. ower arms. rear end . transmission tunnel. firewall etc. In my opinion the car is still show quality.   

The previous owner installed traction bars to this car. they appear to be custom fabricated and not manufactured because they fit very nice and are not too noticeable or ugly like most are. the shocks bolt to the traction bars so if they were to be removed I believe you would just need the lower shock mounts that go on the leaf spring bolts. along with this the swab bar was removed but is included.                                                                                                     The AIR INDUCTION flappers in the hood are functioning but the original air cleaner is not on the engine due to the Holly carb but we have it and it is included

I believe this car to be rare since it is a somewhat low option Z28 with a 4 speed. aluminum wheels.  It does NOT have: air conditioning. T tops. tilt wheel.

We are not a dealer or a broker but have sold a few of our own vehicles on ebay.  We require a down payment of $500. by paypal within 24 hours of the auction ending and the balance in cash or (CONFIRMED) cashiers or bank check within 7 days of the end of the auction. contrary to what some people believe these checks take about a week to clear so we would prefer cash or a wire transfer.  I have been a restorer and the owner of classic and show vehicles for 25 plus years and would like to see this car with the right owner.
