I found this1964  Austin Healey sitting in a garage  in Wisconsin for over 25 years.  The owner had passed away this past year ago and the car was for sale. I'm sure you know that a nice drivable Austin Healey BJ8 3000  in just the last 5 years. the market value has nearly doubled.  I am not sure but I  believe this is a Phase 2 Austin Healey. This car needs total restoration  and is 100% complete except for tools and 4 parking and turn signal light lens in front.  Does not run and drive. Steering OK and the wheels  turn free. .     The 3000 MK111   known by its chassis number  prefex  BJ8 was the end of the line for the Big Healey which dated back to the 4 cylinder 100 introduced in 1952.  The Austin Healey Mark 111 was the most developed and evolved and included  an inline 6 cylinder engine.  Walnut veneer dash. roll up windows and a top that can be raised with one hand from inside the vehicle. This version came with the very powerful 2. 912cc 6 cylinder engine  making 148 H. P.   The upper end prices for the very best restorations seen to have plateaued around the six figure mark.  here is a great opportunity to purchase a BJ8 3000 to restore at a fair price.  Good luck and have a great day.
