Sunbeam Tiger 260 V8  Totally original factory specification including Hardtop.

 

This is an absolutely genuine unmolested car which has been repainted and sympathetically restored.   There has been VERY minor metalwork carried out to the bottom of the n/s/f wing. span >  the rear of the n/s sill. span >  and the bottom of the front of the o/s/r wing. The underneath of this car is perfect and has never been damaged nor restored. The car has been beautifully repainted to a very high standard.   This car is as straight as an arrow with perfect panel gaps.   The interior is original and is the only part of the car that is not quite perfect. it needs a very small amount of attention to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the car. This is a two owner car and it has covered a genuine 51. 00 miles from new with a lot of history and old MOT's etc to back it up. span >  plus It has both its owners and workshop manuals.

 

Mechanically. span >  I have replaced the starter Motor and ring gear. span >  the complete clutch. span >  both hydraulic master cylinders and the clutch slave cylinder.   It has had new shock absorbers all round and new front and rear springs. span >  I have replaced all front suspension bushes with poly-bushes etc. .  and it has also had a re-conditioned fuel pump.   The car is sitting on original Minilite alloy 6” / 7” wheels. span >  I also have the original steel wheels with hubcaps and trims.

 

   Most importantly the entire specification of this car is as it left the factory and it has not had its engine changed / uprated . span > nor its interior changed to leather etc.  This is a car for the true enthusiast who actually wants to use it and not just wrap it in cotton wool. span >  it is notin concours condition.  however It is a car to be proud of in any company and is a guilt edged investment in this condition.

This is a Mk 1 although first registered in 1967

 

This is a private sale and there will be a full 12 months MOT certificate included with the car.
