Gunmetal Grey, Many new items

 This listing is for  1967 Cadillac convertible. this car is a member of my family and has owned it since 2005. It has had a very through make over and although not mint is very clean. The owner is relocating out of state and will not have a garage or storage. We have consulted several sights for value and are asking what we feel is a fair price but will accept offers. As with all my listings this is not listed locally and will be sold through E-bay based on offers received.

This is NOT my car but have been around it. so I will try and explain it to the best of my ability.

The car was a frame off rebuild. the front suspension was redone at that time. the frame cleaned and painted. New springs all around. All new fuel and brake lines.

The body was done by a local body shop. stripped.  media blasted. any body work done and painted in an original Cadillac dark grey color. The floor pans were replaced from solid floors from a coupe. they look original inside and out.

A new trunk kit was installed.  

The engine was rebuilt by a local engine rebuilder. they have a stellar reputation. I have used them for 30 years and still do. The transmission is sound.   New exhaust with original resonator.

There is a new top (black). with the glass back window. and new well liner. There is the top cover that snaps on when down. new also.

The interior has been completely redone two years ago. in the original perforated leather with vinyl trim. The carpet has been replaced. as well.

A new heater core was installed . the radiator re-cored. The AC was rebuilt last year and works.

New tires. belts hoses etc.

Options include.

Automatic temp control . works

Power top. works

Tilt telescope steering wheel. yes it works

Guidematic. (auto dimming headlights) (?????? never use)

Twilight sentinel (Auto on headlights) (????? never use)

Power seat. 6 way. yes they work

Power windows. yes they work

Power top. yes it works

AM-FM Stereo Radio. new speakers. (does not work right now) 

Power antenna. yes but the radio controls it ??????

Cruise control . works when it wants to. mostly yes.

This is a very nice looking and awesome driving car. It is not 100 point perfect.

The chrome is very nice but original. no pitting but aged. There is a small exhaust leak that gets quieter when the engine warms up. The ac is cold but some times there is a delay blowing from the dash vents. (it blows on the floor otherwise)

The radio use to work and now does not. I do not know why.  it may be a fuse? I will try and look into this.

The cruise works but lately has a mind of it's own. Some days it works perfectly. then the next it is spotty then works fine again. Bad contact?

Some updates were done all of which can be undone.

Disc brakes from a 1968 Cadillac have been installed front to rear top to bottom . they work great.

An internal alternator has been installed. for more amperage.   

All and all this is a fantastic above average driver. again not mint but very close mechanical and cosmetically. It runs and drives great. smooth. quiet.  Hate to see this one go but.

Have checked prices most this nice are over $20. 00.

The shop owner that has done much of the work can be available if you would like to talk to him. He is a busy man and does not have time for tire kickers. serious bidders only.
