1964 MERCEDES 230SL (LHD) Euro version, Hard-Top & Soft-Top

                            1964 Mercedes 230SL (LHD) Original Euro Version. it has a Hard-Top with a Soft-Top etc. £27. 900 0N0.

Automatic with power steering. Speedometer is in KM/h. It was an original German car. first used in Europe then spent part of its life in California (USA) before returned into UK last year. It has an original engine with number plate as well as a chassis / data number plate on the engine bay.

MECHANICALY SOUND- Clean engine. Starts. nbsp;Runs and Drives. brakes needs little attention. Previous owner was a Mechanicl Engineer who had been useing this 230SL as a weekend driver in California from 2001 to 2012  before I acquired it into my collection with an intention of doing a cosmetic refurb.  There are few previous registration certificates come with the car.  

Body and undercarriage are generally rust free and in good condition and wax-oiled undercarriage and inter-wheel arch areas etc. Looks solid but the paint work. some interior trim and seat covers have been suffered by California's hot wheather. Chrome work looks good. it has also chrome wheels. Additional / original steering wheel also included.   

A good car with a good engine.  but its need a good paint work.   Some work have been already started for interior such as a brand new MB style front seats covers and new original style black soft-top and new interior trims have been already made for this car (see the photos). its need to put it on after a paint job. these items come with the car.  

The car is currently kept in a dry storage in Surrey. UK as part of collection. Starts. Runs and Drives well. nbsp;it can be used as it is after a general check up and test etc.  

The car is offered for sale as is with its present condition.  Total PRICE IS £27. 900 ono which is including the above mentioned items. EU buyers are welcome.  

Please note: The original factory colour of this 230SL was a rare "Grey Metallic" with black interior (see the attached dash / interior photo). It has a 280SL badge on the boot but it is an original 230SL.

UK Coustoms duty and VAT have been paid. original document. nbsp;original Title along with a Bill of Sale come with the car.  The car is not registered in UK. therefore. the buyer arrange a transport to collect the car.
