This car is generally sound. it as only covered 3000 miles in my ownership and summer use only. over six years. Just prior to acquiring the car it was subject to Sky's Discovery Channel Discovery Garage series and stated to be a great example of a collectable classic SL300. Further prior to my purchase the soft top was renewed and the gear box replaced. The soft top has only been used twice and is as new. I have had a new radiator fitted and the silencer and rear exhaust pipes replaced. The car does need cosmetic work but passed its recent MOT with no advisories. Sad to see it go but I am nearly 80 and getting in and out of the car is becoming extremely difficult. Buy it now enjoy the summer motoring and then spend next winter bringing the car up to the highest standards The car is on a PRIVATE NUMBER PLATE which is worth ? £1000 and is INCLUDED along with retention certificate for original plate. Car is in Herefordshire. Unfortunately I may be away from home some days over the next few weeks but will try and answer any questions and arrange viewings.
