The Mercedes-Benz R 107 was produced from 1971 through to 1989. br/>being the second longest single series ever produced by
Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. Sold under the SL model names. the
R 107 replaced the W 113 SL-Class in 1972 which was in turn replaced
by the R 129 SL-Class in 1989. The SL variant was a two-seat
convertible/roadster with standard softtop and hardtop and optional
folding seats for the rear bench.

Volume production of the
first SL started in April. 1971 alongside the last of the W 113
cars. The SL roadster has since become the epitome of what a luxury
roadster should look like and can be found from Aberdeen to Antibes
and indeed in every corner of the earth and wherever the jet-set
congregate.

This splendid 280 SL has only had two former keepers and has
covered only 76. 00 miles in its 32 years on the road. Finished in
white with beige interior and supplied with a factory hardtop. this
R 107 has been very well cared for and. as such. presents in
excellent order. Supplied with a V 5 registration document. a
current Mo T test certificate and a significant amount of history. br/>it is described by the vendor as "driving as she should" with no
