I have for sale my beloved Mercedes 220s 5. 6 v8 Fintail Professional Conversion by MB V8 Conversions. They fitted the following:- Engine. Gearbox. all ancillaries. ECU. Wiring. Brake servo and radiator for a 560 SEC. The car produces approx 300bhp. Rear axle is a 6. 3 Crosser. The car is 84000 on the clock. but the engine has only done approx 40. 00 Brake discs front and rear from a 560 sec servo. Power steering with a quicker gearing from a W108. Suspension is Koni Classic shockers with standard springs. Exhaust is a custom made stainless steel system standard looking twin exit. All parts are original Mercedes apart from the Exhaust. Mot'd till 8/5/15. the car was first registered in 3/4/64. The Mercedes has had a quality glasurit oven baked respray inside and out in Mercedes DB180 original 1964 colour. All new window. door and boot seals. New window channeling and carpets. seats. doorcards. steering wheel etc. Very professionally restored. The car has a 6 page feature in Mercedes enthusiast March 2014. (see the pictures) To sum my car up it is truly stunning and feels like driving an older S class but with a kind of a very mild hot rod feel. very easy to drive and 300BHP on tap. Defects are very minor ones as previously mentioned in the listing. O/S/R section of the bumper has some dings in it. Speedometer needs calibrated (This will cost £80 to get done) Tracking is slightly out. C0 needs slight adjustment and the fuel gauge is intermittent. the car is done to a high professional standard and no expense has been spared. This car has the benefits of modern day driving and maintenance which could be used as an every day car without any problem. Please no time waters.
