Delivered new to the UK. in UK RHD spec as 1 of 44 cars delivered in 1971.

Current owner for the last 8 years (since 2006)

Good amount of history – invoices for work and parts and servicing. MOT's and any other general documentation from 1985 to present day.

Porsche letter confirming original supply to UK spec in '71. span >  & matching numbers.

A well sorted. rust free. mechanically sound. driveable car.

Notable works undertaken:

Bare shell re-paint  in 1991. from orig ivory white to Arctic Silver

Floors and kidney bowls replaced with new panels 2008. shell is straight and rust free.

Excellent paint work

Original 901 getrag dogleg 5 speed gearbox re-built with quaife torque biasing differential installed in 2010 - by Porsche specialist. (orig. open diff retained ‘on the shelf')

New shock absorbers all round

New Tyres all round

Currently have has some non original upgrade items fitted;

2. 7 engine currently installed. ecently rebuilt by Porsche specialist with;

New. full stainless exhaust system and heat exchangers fitted.

Lightened flywheel and

Uprated clutch installed.

Running on Webers.

Rolling road tuned.

No oil leaks.

Good compression all round.

I have advertised here for what I think the package is worth as a job lot (all items noted above inclusive).

If you do not want to take the lot. I am happy to discuss a price for your chosen specification from the above parts – you decide what you want and make me an offer. once we agree a price I will put the car together as you want it. EG you might well just want the original items. – no problem. as a ball park. this would save you about 6000GBP on the advertised price. The only parts I am not willing to swap back to orig. are;

Poly bushes – old bushes were not serviceable and ;

Quaife ATB differential – it should stay in the gearbox – they are difficult to set up correctly!
