Now a very very rare opportunity - the chance to bid to own own of half a dozen BMW 2000 CS's known to be left in the UK. These beautiful cars were more expensive than Jaguar e-types when new and hence did not sell in large numbers in the UK. In the last few years I have known 2 of these cars change hands for north of £30k. and they are continuing to appreciate as a historical piece of BMW's history.  
These cars are extremely rare anywhere in the world. as only just over 10. 00 were ever made. and a mere 144 of those were converted to RHD from LHD by the importers. This car is one of around 6 cars known to be left in the UK - almost certainly with the lowest mileage.

Very low mileage of just under 26. 00 miles with MOT's and invoices and history to support the mileage - and the condition of the engine and cylinders is commensurate with the mileage.

This is a project car. which has been off the road since 1985 and will require some body work. All parts are available new and second hand from Germany and on a popular auction website. Before being parked up this car was apparently a regular attendant at BMW club meetings (It's amazing what fellow eBayers can contact you with when you list a car on here. This car seems to be pretty well known!)

The blue leather interior is in fantastic condition and the seats. chrome sides. headliner. and dash look amazing. exterior very presentable although it does show it's age and have a bit of corrosion on the arches and bottom of the doors.

Car is 100% complete and original and in 'survivor' condition - with a wonderful wood dashboard (real wood) and chrome details. The headlining is perfect and all carpets present and correct. The chrome detailing on the interior is in fantastic condition. and there are even little BMW emblems on the seat belt buckles.

The engine was sympathetically and carefully recommissioned recently. with an oil change and careful checks - and runs well. The engine runs without any smoke or rattles - and is smooth and lovely as you would expect from a BMW. The engine does currently run well having recently had new plugs. HT leads. coil. condenser. points. fuel pump and also has a new master and slave cylinder to be fitted - after which it should be mobile and drivable for transport purposes. The gearbox gearchange is precise and tight - again. comensurate with the low mileage.

The buyer will need a trailer to collect. I am happy to have the clutch done so that the car is drivable if my asking price is met.

This car requires new sills and possibly some fabrication on the front wings. Most parts are available new from Germany - check out www. wallothnesch. com - spares are very reasonable. The car is structurally sound and 100% complete. A concourse example of the same car is currently for sale asking over £30k on Carandclassic. co. uk - so anyone with the skills and time this summer could realise my dream to see this car back on the road where it belongs. The more of the work you are able to do yourself the less it will cost you. Having recently had a little girl 4 months ago. I would rather spend the small amount of spare time i have with her than in the garage - so a change of priorities means this amazing car is now up for grabs.
