1951 Chevrolet 3100 Pick Up - 400ci - Turbo 350 Automatic - American Racing

For sale is a 1951 Chevy 3100 recently imported from the mid-west USA.  It has the potential to be either a show. street sleeper. or just a mean old'n'low truck!  I have too many projects and need to move this on. so regrettably here we are.  The truck is UK Registered and taxed. all import duties have been paid and I have a V5 in my name as the first registered keeper in the UK.
Engine is a 400 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 (6. 7 litres) running a brand new Edelbrock 4 barrel.  Transmission is a smooth turbo 350 automatic. with lokar shifter.  It has a new 3 core aluminium radiator and electric fan and Spal cooling fan relay harness. new brakes all the way around with disc brake front conversion and new master cylinder. 3" posies front drop springs. new king pins (just fitted). new shocks all the way around. rebuilt 10 bolt rear end with 3:23 gears new Dolphin gauges (that all work). glass is all good except passenger door glass cracked.  New LED tail lights (UK legal for age of the vehicle) and new tailgate. chrome grill is in good shape and bumpers are nice and straight (re chrome if you want).  Steering box has just been overhauled with new bearings and complete kit. including gaskets etc.
New wiring harness (12 volt) along with UK legal lights and turn signals.
Bench seats have been re-upholstered in Mexican style fabric along with matching door panels. and a roof lining added.  
American Racing alloys 16" front and 17" rear. rear tyres are brand new. fronts are good and have spinners - your choice. they can be removed (pics show them on and off).  
Body work is solid. only mild surface rust in a few places that adds to the character. Either leave as. in grey primer. or re-paint it in colour of your choice.  
Engine bay is clean and tidy in black primer. again leave as or re-paint to your choice.  
New door seals have been fitted along with a new front vent seal.
Chassis is solid. pickup bed wood has been replaced and is in good condition.  
Runs and drives great.  This is one cool and great looking truck. brings a smile to everyone's face and many admiring stares.  It's not for the faint-hearted. its a 63 year old truck and is not a toy.  Don't ask what it does to the gallon. you're not the right person to own it if you have to ask!
Fully UK registered and licensed - tax and MOT free!
NO time wasters or tyre kickers - I am not interested in swaps. and I don't want ''buyers'' turning up "thinking" about this as a potential project - you know who you are!This is a private sale. it has no warranty. so don't ask or expect one - you see you buy!
