ALFA ROMEO SPIDER 105 GRADUATE

I had wanted an Alfa Spider for sometime and was offered this car. there is a story with it-. Its an American car and was imported to the UK some years ago. when it got here it was damaged on the nose and tip offside front wing. The car went into storage and was there for along time. Its a shame it was damaged. however there is a plus side which is it didn't see much if any UK road use and has not suffered like most UK Spiders have. When it came to us the metalwork was completed. so we continued with the restoration as and when we had free Workshop time ( we had our own Workshop on site). We MOTed the Spider in November 2013. It has spent its entire time with us at the back of the showroom getting dusty or in the workshop.

The Car needs a Vehicle Identity Check which is done at a Vehicle Inspectorate Site by appointment. this is to confirm the Identity of the car. Not that this car has any question over its identity but it is to stop criminals selling cars with incorrect identity after damage. We are a busy Car Dealership and have not found the time to present the Spider for the test to date. as it was a rolling restoration for us there was no rush. However we have now sold the Dealership we operate from and a move is imminent. We are selling off all of our Classics as is. we recently sold our partially built Jaguar XJ220 because of the move to new premises. Other Classic items to be listed.

The Spider is finished in Factory Rosso AR 530. The Paint finish and Body condition is incredibly good. These rot like mad in the UK. The car benefits from a Carrelo Head lamp Cover Conversion. Genuine Covers fitted ( which is highly desirable. They make the car very pretty. All the seems are nice. nbsp;The Wheel Well in the boot is 100% rot free. When the car was Painted it had 10 litres of Clear Waxoyl injected everywhere and the Waxoyl Black Wax underneath.  The only minor Body defect is a tiny. I mean tiny. paint blister on the Nearside rear arch. The Graduate model was a limited run of Spiders to commemorate the film.

Interior is Lovely. Period Wood Rimmed  Nardini style Steering Wheel and Gear Knob. also has a period Chrome Classic Radio with CD/ MP3 ability. Carpet set replaced. Seats and Door panels spot on.

2. Wheel Bearing/s

3. Handbrake is poor. from being parked

4. A good Shake down period. it hasn't done many miles in the last 15 year

Alfa Spider 105s are on the way up and feature in this Months CLASSIC AND SPORTS CAR MAGAZINE. I looked at few UK cars and they were seriously Rotten. I was attracted to this Spider because it was in much better condition than anything previously seen.

Don't confuse this Spider with badly Painted. Rotten UK car. It was fully stripped before paint so there is no overspray or prep marks. Panel Gaps are Supurb. All door. Lock and window rubbers renewed. The Hood is unmarked double duct with a clear back window. folds and stores easily. There is a Hood bag with the car.

The Car is complete with Two Sets of keys. Spare Wheel and Tool Kit. We hold the MOT certificate but no other paperwork for the car.
