I have a 1970 mercedes 300sel with the m100 6. 3 engine.  This is a parts car and although in a bad way rust wise. it has heaps of useful and hard to get bits.  I believe the engine is seized although we haven't tried to hard to un seize it.  
The car is in new zealand on my uncles farm and i am trying to decide if its a good idea to bring it over here to break or sell complete.
Its a silver/blue colour. with velour interior. There are a few things missing including the air pump for suspension and the fuel pump.   I should have most of the other missing bits. headlamps etc as I have heaps of bits for w109s.

 

Vin number 109 018 22 006522.   This makes it one of the last 6. 3s made. 4th from last made of a total of 6526 made.   The old uk reg is SCK282L.

 


I have no idea about any history. only that i believe it was new in scotland. it has uk numberplates with fleetwood in lancashire at bottom and it was in america before new zealand. I believe it was parked up due to rust issues.  It was brought by a friend of mine along with a 220sec coupe and had been stored in a container for a while.   
Im not sure if its registered in uk any more.
It looks like i may have brought another 300sel from new zealand and im trying to work out if it would be viable to bring this back also? 
Please remember that it will cost me if i was to bring it back here. shipping import tax etc. not sure exactly how much yet.   The 10000 pounds is negotiable and im open to offers. however it wont be coming to uk unless I know I can do something with it.  I really need some sort of deposit first.
