A Kansas family down the road just a bit from where I live purchased this rare two-door wagon new. They last registered it in 1985 and then put it in one of their machinery buildings. I bought it from one of the sons in 2004 and brought it out into the sunshine again.

This Plymouth is a frame-up professionally built driver. I was the designer. cheerleader and banker. Randy Seger engineered and executed the suspension modifications. Jodie Stout (ASE certified) engineered and executed the mechanical and electrical modifications. Chuck Miller spent nearly three years on the body restoration. modifications and paint. Sam Wright at Hot Rod Interriors created the interior.

When I first visited with Randy Seger about the suspension modifications he asked me how “low” I wanted the car. I told him to make it as low as possible and still be drivable. It is low. but the front-end geometry is correct and driving is worry-free because we added small ½” skid plates to the frame that hang below the tips of the front fenders. I've slammed it hard it a few times with no damage. just startled passengers.

3. 00 miles since the build. This little car is a true pleasure to drive. It has abundant power for jackrabbit starts and cruises comfortably at high-speed. Maneuvering and braking are both exceptional. The turning radius is surprisingly tight.
