BMW E30 M3 S14

A Rare opportunity to obtain an E30 M3

1991 E30 M3 later 215BHP Model LHD. /p>

This car started life in Germany. it was imported by Munich Legends in 1997 I have some of the German History/build sheets.

Previous owner had it for 12 years in which time it wasn't raced or rallied he used it as daily transport!

It had been parked up for 4 years before I bought it. after some re-commissioning it now has an MOT and it is ready to drive away.

I wouldn't describe it as Concourse and it is defiantly not rubbish! I know my way around these cars very well and my reason for selling it is purely that I have another one that has lower miles!

The S14 2. 3 4 cylinder engine runs very very well. it's crisp without any nasty cam chain/top end noises. doesn't burn oil and sits nicely with the temp on halfway. it idles as it should without hunting or misfiring revs nice and smooth and pulls very strongly throughout all the gears. /p>

Dogleg 5 speed transmission is quiet there's no layshaft noise all gear changes are positive as you would expect the clutch performs well

Suspension is firm but positive. and the brakes pull it up to a stop suddenly as they should. /p>

The miles are in Kilometres and it's showing 220k converted to Miles that is 136k considering it is 24 years old that is a lot less than average. /p>

Bodywork is as you would expect for a car that still has original paint after all this time. but unlike many E30's it is solid with the exception of the front wings which will need replacing in the future. (these are still available new from main dealers)

Inside the rear arches are good. the floor pans and bulkhead are good. there is scabbing on the rear lower outer arches again nothing serious. there is flaky paint and scabs in the scuttle area around the grills and a small area on the drivers side needs a repair. again it's not rotten but it needs addressing. /p>

So to summarise this car.

It isn't a concourse example but a clean and tidy introduction into the E30 M3. something that rarely comes up for sale. many are tidied up and re-painted to gain £££ this one is here in the flesh and has nothing to hide ! it has a full 12 months MOT but no road tax. I have some service history. /p>
