this is a 1956 BMW isetta partially restored and looking for someone to finish it. the chassis and drive train is done and the body work has to be finished and then painted. all of the repair panels have been welded in and has a new floor in it also. the whole body was sandblasted down to bare metal before any work was started. the frame and all the parts were also sandblasted down to bare metal and were coated with por 15. the chassis has all new control cables etc and new tires . the engine was rebuilt many years ago and still has the hone marks in the cylinders. the engine runs fine when hotwired and remote gas tank. brakes are good condition and all the other items on it. chassis is ready for the body to be installed. all of the original glass is included and in good condition. the windshield has some wiper scratches in it but I think it could be polished out. i have just about everything it will need to be finished. may need a few small parts but not much. i have bills for $1300 of rechromed parts and another $4300 for new parts from isetta's - r -us. new gas tank. nterior trim panels. indow rubbers and channels. ires. atch panels. loor panel complete. oof fabric panel. eal kits. ables. tc. tc. tc. car has been setting in garage for a couple years since worked on last. i have lost interest and selling for someone else to enjoy. i will mount body on chassis for transport and box other parts for new owner. the car has a clear title with no leins or encumbrances.
