1966 Mini z car. CBR1100xx engine in the back space frame mot and free tax

Here we have my wee z car mini.  

   I bought this from a car dealer near manchester last year. He told me that z cars built this at the beginning of there company starting up and that they used it to promote theyre car conversions. I cant say for sure as i didnt get paperwork to back it up. Anyway. I drove it back from manchester and when i got home. i started doing some bits and bobs to it. New bonnet (fibreglass with vinyl 4d carbon over it. fibreglass boot with 4d carbon over it) i also wrapped the rear wheel arches. fitted a new grill. and made a new exhaust for it. It now has a brand new chain fitted also. I still have the original exhaust that came with the car. an Akroprovic motorbike exhaust. but it has a dent and doesnt look too healthy. The tread is all good on the tyres and it has front and rear discs that are good condition. Though the wheels could do with being balanced. it drives great. stupidly fast and everyone looks! If youre over 6"1' like i am. i wouldnt think its be too comfy to drive as the seat is quite close to the steering wheel. As expected. it has a sequential gearbox that is 1 forward and the rest back. It doesnt have a reverse. but its so light that i just put one foot out the door and push it back. There doesnt appear to be any rust as its been well undersealed and well built. The car is red. obviously and the paint job looks good to me. though its not a glass finish. it is a professional job. It does have a sunroof. i wasnt too happy about that. till i drove it during the cold spell we had. when you open the sunroof. it seems to sook the hot air from the engine. keeping the cab warm. I have however fitted a small blower motor behind the passenger seat that takes hot air from the exhaust manifold. It works great too. The car has an aftermarket motorbike dash. though the revs sometimes wonder. the speedo does not work either though it doesnt bother me as i use a sat nav always. Also. one of the indicator relays has started to get a little sticky. causing the indicator to stop flashing. though i should be able to change it before the listing ends. if not ill give a couple of relays to the winner. I only drive this car around 70-80 miles max these days as i have sore knees and a sore back. The coil over suspension is fairly hard as its built to be used as a track day tool. Ive never had the chance to take it to a track. but i think itd do well. It does drift very very well in the wet and its very easy to control. though if you wish. its also good for driving normal too.  
  I already have another mini that i dont know what to do with. so ive decided to sell this one. Im wanting to buy something else like a 911 soft top.  645 bmw soft top. maserati. aston martin db7. rs4 rs6. skyline (i already have an 800hp one). s14/15. motorbike. boat. quad. road legal buggy. race car. microlight baisically anything that could be fun but ebay will not allow swaps. so id buy yours through ebay ;-) My would be able to arrange viewing of the car and collection of the car if it sells before i get home.

 Someone has just pointed out that my rear REG number is wrong. I have just had the plate made up and fitted it. it was a mistake by the company i used to make it. Ill have another one made to go with the car.

   Just to confirm. I drive this car every sunny day that i can and im at home. There is an isolation switch on the outside of the car that helps keep the battery good. Though. if you live 6 hours drive away. i wouldnt reccomend it as its loud. the suspension is HARD. If youre tall. the seating isnt the comfiest too. It has a heavy duty clutch and springs. so obviously its not as light a pedal as it would be on a bike. though it has a hydraulic conversion. so its still very easy to press. The biting point on the clutch is very sharp as it is heavy duty. It has the same kind of biting point as a car paddle clutch. (if you know what that means) 
   The car starts on the key. I am currently abroad with work and wont be home till the 24th (ish) so my father will need to deal with it. Unless youd rather wait till im back. If you dont live too far away. youd be able to get a taxi or a lift to my house. jump in the car and drive it home with no difficulties. (providing you are insured. or have 3rd party cover for other peoples cars) Ill leave my insurance on the car till its collected. My insurance is only £80 a year fully comp with an agreed valuation of £15500 on the car after they had it inspected. I only put the car on here to test the water. but i put a very very very low reserve on it (almost half of the the cheapest z car i could find on the internet for sale) I do not need the money. im not bothered about getting rid of it either. I know i have a great wee car. So i wont swap it for youre standard astra or 2l redtop nova (unless there's plenty cash involved) If it reaches the reserve. youll have yourself a very very cheap z car in good condition ( i honour any sales. so i will not mess you about either) Good Luck

I also forgot to mention. If you have something worth ALOT of money (aston martin. porsche. etc) Im happy to pay any cash ontop (through ebay rules:) Though obviously i wont be paying top dealership price for youre car and giving my car away for way way less than its worth. Thanks
