Welcome to my auction for a 1964 ½ Mustang


Up for sale is my pride and joy. which brings a smile to everyone's faces (especially mine) wherever she goes.
Change in circumstance forces me to sell it regrettably. (Military and am heading abroad)
Originally started out as a father. son project back in Texas. it was imported from USA back in March 2011.
Altogether from start to finish. the previous owner spent well in excess of £25. 00 on this project. so you are getting a great bargain.
My loss will be your gain.

Engine & Drivetrain

A classic mustang with a modern powertrain. this gets close to 20MPG (but who watches the tank when you are having fun with this car?!)
The drivetrain has been changed to a modern OD transmission.
The engine is a 5. 7 litre 302. but bored . 030.   creating 347 Cubic Inch stroker motor with 400+ bhp.
This engine gives massive torque and power!

Body

The car was professionally garnet blasted to bare metal. including the undercarriage and trunk. all rust was professionally dealt with cutting out any (minor cancer and welding in new sheet metal).
Old floor plans were removed and new floor plans were we installed and welded in place.

Paint

The car has had a full re-spray in Mercedes Obsidian Black a year ago. It is a beautiful mirror finish and looks sublime.
The pictures do not do it justice.
There are a couple of hairline cracks on the rear quarter panels and drivers side door. nbsp;and some minor rust size of 10p on the driver side arch
I have contemplated in getting these minor imperfections rectified but I don't have the time as I need to sell the vehicle which is reflective of the price.
The alloy wheels are sprayed the same colour for a matching aggressive pony look.


Exterior

The entire electrical system was removed and a painless harness was professionally installed.
Retro Classic Custom Autosound Concours Series USA-630 radio has been installed.
300 watt amp and with 6x9 Kickers at the back. 6. 5” In Phase speakers at the front.
The sound is very clear and crisp with a good thump. Also has electric antenna (watch video).  

Furthermore. it has had the following interior work done:

Security

It had a Clifford Concept 650 MK2 alarm installed.

Overall this is an affordable classic which doesn't need any more work and is good to drive. It runs and sounds good and is an absolute joy to take out. A real head turner. The reason for sale is I am in the military and am spending the next 4 years out of the country and have no where to keep it. Needs a fairly quick sale as I deploy soon! And so am open to offers.
