1986 VW BEETLE

This auction is for my beautiful. well restored and tastefully customised VW Beetle. As you can see from the photos. it is a quite stunning blue and cream with custom blue and cream interior. It is rare having the factory fitted full length sunroof and having a near perfect service history.

I would be surprised if you could find one that turns more heads than this. everyone wants to have their photo taken with it and have been asked to do lots of proms/weddings/photo shoots when out in it.

This car was originally bought by a UK guy from the factory in Germany and I have the original invoice. plus all the service books and all the service receipts from that day.

It was originally orange with black interior and have photos of the car from new and at various shows.

It was serviced by the same garage 6 times from 1986-1990 as follows

17/3/1986 - 992 km

19/9/1986 - 7. 13 km

10/9/1987 - 15. 81 km

6/6/1989 - 22. 77 km

7/2/1990 - 29. 57 km

This was all done by the local main dealer. After this time. it went to the local specialist garage.

There is a gap in the invoices. but I believe that it was done by the same specialist 1990-2002

The invoices resume from 2002

19/8/2005 - 91. 50 km

22/8/2006 - 108. 53 km

17/8/2007 - 116. 23 km

16/8/2008 - 124. 09 km

The original keeper from the purchase invoice shows as the previous keeper in the log book and the name after that is the guy that did the restoration work. so this car has only ever had one driver from new!!

I have a huge stack of invoices from purchase to service work to all the parts used to do the restoration and customisation.
