This is a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera targa in the seldom seen factory color of “Muscatbraunmetallic”. or nutmeg brown metallic……. paint code 492. Car was stored in the previous owner's warehouse for approximately ten years and within the past year. has been mechanically freshened up by replacing all fuel and brake lines – fuel tank has been cleaned as well as all fluids. The car is rust free and believed to retain it's factory paint. Mechanically it starts easily. drives extremely well and pulls strongly…. gearbox is smooth with no issues and the car brakes well. Interior is brown leather and in good condition. with the only non original item being the radio. Targa top seals very well and is also in good condition.
There is some slight lifting on the dash near the passenger side vent near the wind screen – which is somewhat common on these cars – especially ones that have been stored in a dry place for any length of time……. paint is showing it's age – especially the front bumper with the road wear that one would expect from a 30 year old car that has had no paint work but as far as a good solid drivable car – it would be considered a very good prospect. Comes with owner's manual and spare keys and the car is also listed locally. and I retain the right to end the listing at any time. Deposit of $1. 00 is due within 48 hours of auction end and balance is to be received within seven days.
