 This is a very nice 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. We are only the third owners of this car. My wife and I bought it a couple of years ago. and she has put about 3000 miles on it. driving it here and there. She has decided she would now like to have an old Mustang. so this has to go first. We think it's one of the best out there. The paint is flawless. The soft top is brand new. We have never put it up except for the photos. The removable hard top is in perfect shape. and is very easy to remove. The car is extremely nice inside. but does have a small tear in the leather in the back. near the hard top removal handle. Also. I put a new center console switch plate in it. but the fit isn't perfect. but with a little fettling. it could be. The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light stays on all the time. I've taken off the steering wheel. and cleaned the contacts. but it still stays on. It has the nice chrome wheels. and wheel arch trim. It has a modern stereo system with CD player. and speaker box in the rear. It has the original owners manual. and all the supplements which came with it. It even has the first aid kit. It runs and drives with no problems whatsoever. and shifts properly. The tires still have many. many miles left on them. We have babied this car from the moment we bought it. as did the owner before us. All the oil changes and other maintenance items have been done over the years. as shown in the records. I have done an Autocheck History Report on this car. and everything is perfect. If you need any more information. let me know. and I will be happy to answer any questions.
