This Ford Cortina Mk ll 1600 GT Estate is a very rare car.

The GT Estate was released by Ford in 1968 at a list price of £842 compared to a GT four door saloon at £755. It was only available through their Special Vehicle Order Department and it is believed that no record exists of how many were made but the internet suggests that less than ten survive.

The history file contains the current V5 along with an old style log book. some previous road tax discs and numerous MOT certificates going back to 1990.

It has a current MOT until June 2014 and the Free Historic Road Tax until the end of June 2014 is on the windscreen.

This car is likely to be an excellent investment.
