For sale is my 1936 Chrysler C-8 four door sedan. This is a very nice driver condition car. not a concourse car. but very respectable at any car show and it is quite rare. It was repainted about five years ago. The body was rust free and almost no repairs were necessary before painting. The runningboards are completely solid. I have never found the original pattern of rubber for them. so they are bare. You can cover them with any material you wish. There is no cracked glass. The interior was done after the paint. in original style material and pattern. These cars have beautiful interiors with pleated and button seats and door panels. I did not have the woodgraining done and it does need to be done to complete the interior work. With new woodgraining the interior would be stunning. The carpeting is new and is the reproduction hogs hair material from Bill Hirsch. All the window cranks and door handles are original and correct for the car. inside and outside. The brakes were completely replaced three years ago. all new wheel cylinders and shoes. The tires are wide whites and are very good. although I don't know their age. Wheels are painted to match the car and have trim rings and nice original hubcaps. The bumpers were rechromed at the time of the paint job. They are very nice. The battery is a year old and all the lights work. The headlights are original. not converted to sealed beam. The gauges all work. except the fuel gauge recently quit. The engine runs smooth and starts easily. I don't think it has ever been rebuilt to my knowledge. The car has overdrive. The odometer shows 54. 00 miles and I believe they are probably correct judging by the condition of the car. Overall this is a rare. very nice car that will need very little to make it a show winner. Email me with any questions.

Is this car still available? How is the rest of the chrome? Have the windshield wipers been updated (I don't recall seeing them at the bottom of the windshield)? In the 35 the windshield cranks open, but the 36 looks like the windshield is fixed, right? Is the battery 6 volt?
