"1969 brought another major restyling to the Mustang. The Fastback 2+2 was gone - replaced by the new SportsRoof model. The new Mustangs were almost 4 inches longer than their 67/68 predecessors. yet they retained the 108" wheelbase of the original 64½'s. The base engine continued to be the 200 cubic inch six cylinder. New for the economy minded Mustang owner was an optional 250 cubic inch six. The base V-8 continued to be the 302-2V. The 351-2V and 4V entered the lineup for 1969. The 302-4V and the 390-2V were dropped. but the 390-4V remained. "

 This Mustang was purchased by the previous owner over 20 years ago in original condition.   Since then. it has had extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Please let all the pictures load. (there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Ford. The pictures really don't do this car justice. you have to see it in person!  We don't know everything that has been done to it over the years. what follows is what we do know.   It was repainted (base coat/clear coat) in the original color (Meadowlark Yellow). the paint is excellent. probably better than when new. A new top was installed at the same time  and it has new emblems. mirrors and door handles. The engine. transmission. suspension and brakes were serviced with many new parts installed.   The interior was redone in black with new seat covers. carpeting and dash pad.   The undercarriage appears original with some minor floor pan repairs. The car has power steering and a power top. The original 302 engine is long gone and has been replaced with a period correct 351. rebuilt with a mild Compcam. electronic ignition and headers. Rounding out the package are some great looking Cragar SS wheels.   The engine runs great and it sounds terrific.   All gages. lights. signals. heat. radio. power top. wipers and windows are fully operational.

Included in the sale will be the convertible boot. a custom car cover. the original cam and some receipts for work done over the years.

Please remember that this car is 45 years old and not perfect. The paint has a few very minor imperfections too small to see in the photos and the passenger floor pan has some minor repair.
