1933 AUSTIN SEVEN AUSTIN 7 TOURER ENGINE RE- DONE

AUSTIN SEVEN 1933 TOURER WITH RE-BUILT ENGINE 

NO RESERVE.

Hello and thank you for looking at my lovely Austin 7 1933 Tourer.

Reason for sale is just need to get some more space but very. very reluctant sale.

Below is a list of what has been done and remember that when you buy an Austin Seven you have no idea what has been done to it with my lovely car you will not only read what has been done but get loads of pictures when all the work was done to keep a good record for its history.

ENGINE:

The engine was taken out and completely stripped down.

Every nut and bolt was replaced where needed. but I kept as many original parts as possible.  

AJ as we call her had the head skimmed also the block skimmed re-boar to +30 and new pistons fitted.

The engine was inspected completely from top to bottom and any part with wear were replaced.

Engine had all new seals and done correctly to the book.

New Clutch fitted. cleaned all parts and New clutch lever arms ground to correct spacing.

Starter motor was completely stripped re-bushed and painted like new. as was the Dynamo re-wired using a pro company and re-built and painted.

New teeth fitted on to fly wheel.

The Engine has only done 729 miles since all the work has been finished. and was run in slowly and again correctly.

Engine has been used and is in used condition compared to the picture used

CHASSIS:

The Chassis has been stripped. cleaned and re-painted with the body work on the car. hard job to do and took months to complete.

The front bushes have all be re-placed front and back.  

SUSPENSION

The rear Suspension was re-placed and a pair newly made to the same spec as the original requirements. this was at great cost.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

Engine compartment was stripped to bare metal and painted to suit the new engine.

INTERIOR:

The interior floor has been stripped back to bare metal. protected. painted and new waterproof rubber matting placed on all floor areas.

The seats are in overall very good condition and were clearly re-placed some years ago.

RE-WIRED

 Re-Wired throughout the car by hand as it was in 1933

TYRES

All new tyres and inner tubes were fitted when the restoration was done less than 729 miles on the new tyres.

BATTERY

A new 3 year warranty battery has just been fitted it even has the contact number so you know who to call

BODY WORK

I never got around to the bodywork but as you will see in very good order with normal wear and tear as you would expect.

Front lights have had two new reflectors fitted. and new bulbs. Indicators fitted and can be removed if you wish. Back lights stripped cleaned and painted new bulbs fitted.

Dash board dials have all be stripped down. cleaned and re-painted as required.

HOOD

The hood was never re-placed and looks very good one small repair to back. never noticed it when I first got her.

Hood is pretty good condition and was clearly re-placed some years ago.

Please don't expect a mint vehicle this is not. has some small marks here and there.

This Austin 7 Seven Tourer 1933 is ready for the summer and runs superbly. starting is either by starter motor or you can start her (AJ) from the handle.
