AS SOME ONE WHO HAS OWNED 100s OF MK2 ESCORTS THIS IS THE BEST RESTORED ESCORT I HAVE EVER SEEN . HE PAINT WORK AND BODY LINES/GAPS IS TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD BETTER THAN WHEN IT WAS NEW. ND DRIVES EVERY BIT AS WELL. T WAS RESTORED IN THE LATE 2000s AND DID HAVE SOME PANELS REPLACED BUT THE UNDERSIDE/FLOORS IS STILL ORGINAL AND AS GOOD AS NEW. HE SHELL WAS ZIEBARTED WHEN NEW. HIS  SPORT HAS THE BETTER  RS MEXICO INTERIOR AND IS AS NEW. THE SIGNAL ORANGE COLOUR WITH THE RS WHEELS AND BLACK VINYL ROOF AND BLACK INTERIOR IS I THINK THE BEST COLOUR COMBINATION YOU CAN GET. HE CAR WAS FEATURED IN RETRO FORD  IN AUG 2011 AND IN THEIR WORDS( MINTER THAN MINT MK2 1600 SPORT RESTORED TO THE HIGHEST OF HIGH STANDARDS). nbsp;  IT HAD A 7 PAGE FEATURE AS WELL AS THE CENTRE SPREAD.
