I don't want to waste my time or yours so I've tried to be as complete as possible.  Please feel free to email any further questions you may have.
1963 Corvette Convertible 4 speed. 327/300hp. The original orange valve covers are now back on the engine though the pic below shows the gray ones. Both can come with the car.

In the late 70s. the Corvette was painted for the first time.

Then. in 2012.  that first repaint of non factory color red was painstakingly removed back down to the original silver blue by a premiere classic car shop with the same owner for 30 plus years.
Then. numerous hours more and dozens of photos show this process then taking the finish below the original paint and show that the original body was in great shape with no signs of replacement panels etc.

Then. the car was block sanded. Then. primed. then block sanded again.

The base coat original color silver blue was then applied. Clear coats followed. Clear coats were then color sanded and buffed to a glass finish.

THEN. the entire car was given another few coats of clear coat. These coats were then once again color sanded and buffed to an amazing finish.

As you can imagine. this was expensive to have done by the premiere classic car shop with decades of experience with Corvettes and other classics.

The bumpers and wing windows were triple chrome plated by another decades long established classic car shop for chrome. The shop does all their triple chrome plating in house. They never send anything out. They are hands on for THE BEST product.

While removed. the wing windows received new gears. weather striping etc.

Of course new weather stripping for the entire Corvette as well.

As original door handles and bow tie side mirrors purchased through GM restoration trim parts. For driving safety when the soft top is up. a GM restoration trim parts side mirror was added to the passenger door.

Doors. glove box and ignition all work off one as original key.

Headlight motors rebuilt and all seals replaced by premiere Corvette shop while the buckets were out of the car for paint.

New as original rear brake lights. bezels. license plate bezel. antenna and correct early 1963 roller gas cap.

New GM Corvette emblems

13 hubcaps were purchased and used to make the best set of 4 original hubcaps possible.

5 new Goodyear tires. The spare is still new. The four on the car maybe have 1500 miles since being put on about a year and a half ago.

Drum brakes were given new pads etc.

If you're looking for any specific other numbers etc just ask if they aren't here. L62 date code/3799349 intake manifold.   Exhaust Manifolds 3797901 and 3797902.
The carb is newew Edlebrock. I do not have the original carb.

New Al Knock interior. This includes carpet. seat foam. seats. door panels. center arm rest. Original door panels can come with as well.

New Al Knock as original soft top with correct as original date codes in the plastic window. When the top is down. I put a soft fiber cloth between the plastic window as it folds down on itself. The original Corvette hard top comes with as well and was of course painted during the restoration.  I have the new rubber kit for the top but since I never plan on using the top. it comes with in a bag and is not installed.

Original AM radio removed (comes with car but needs to be rebuilt) and a 2013 modern radio that fits in stock opening. has chrome looking buttons and is digital is in its place. There are sub woofers in the back jack cover panel.
A second. as original jack panel carpet was made to cover the sub woofer speakers for as original showing purposes. You use the reproduction of the paper radio tag to cover the face of the more modern radio. Again that's for show or anyone looking in that you may not want to see the system.   The stereo thumps as you go down the road with the top down.

A smaller somewhat original looking steering wheel was added. It is color coded dark blue like the interior.
It uses the new. as original Corvette horn button.
The original dark blue steering wheel. with the correct early 63 swirl patterns comes with the car.
With only a few screws it is easy to swap these two out. again for shows etc.

The Vette is registered with 1963 Black and Gold California plates that are part of the program that California put in place where you can attach a cleared. matched set of black and gold plates to a 60s car. While searching forever for a really nice set and number. I went with a set of immaculate plates that has CBF in the sequence for "Corvette Be Fine. "

I would drive this car any place or distance. As you can imagine. the response to the Corvette is constantly thumbs up.

It makes a fun weekend trip to the beach of La Jolla/San Diego  to the desert of Palm Springs and then up into the mountains of San Jacinto at 6000 feet elevation with no problem. then back to Los Angeles Monday morning.  . I have done this trip several times.

The frame is solid and rust free. There was a little bit of corrosion about the size of a couple dimes on the lower thin metal bar of the radiator support under the radiator. I opted to have a new little piece of metal welded on there until the need to pull and replace the radiator some day. There is no overheating or leaking from the cooling system.

I got the Vette from a friend of mine so mechanically I knew she was in great shape with no worries in that department.  Odometer works. Reads about 05000 now. Actual mileage unknown.

The suspension. steering etc it tight.

1963 Corvette numbers on car

1963 Corvette convertible assembled in St Louis. MO.

Engine: 3 (some decked off area) then a  5  remain. rest after that decked off during rebuild

The 327/300 hp engine is solid. It was rebuilt by a prior owner. Fires right up. Never smokes. When they rebuilt it. a good part of the block serial number got shaved off. You can see a few numbers on it. including a couple that match the car's serial number. It starts with a 3 and a few spaces in you can see a 5. The date codes of the block. manifolds etc are correct for the Vette's build date.
All manifolds etc have their right part numbers and date codes for the December 62 build. Again. during an engine rebuild. before I owned the car. the block numbers got mostly decked. You can make out about two numbers that match the car vin. You can have the block re stamped as I'm sure you know but I decided I'd rather have the block as it is.

The car is located about 35 miles from Palm Springs. California.
I have no problem driving it back to L. A. for shipping pick up as the hard top is stored there.
At buyer expense. I'm fine too with having the car inspected in Los Angeles by "Mr. Corvette" himself Dick Gulstrand. See the National Corvette History site to read about the Hall of Fame Corvette Legend.  Gulstrand and his team have helped me over the years and still does with my various Vettes. They are done right or I have no interest.
I'm a private owner. I've had this Corvette a few years. The friend before me had it for a few years as well.
Thanks.
