1987 BMW 635CSi Base Coupe 2-Door 3.5L

For Sale. 1987 BMW 635CSI. 3. 5 Liter 6 cylinder with Bosch Motronic Fuel Injection. 4 Speed Automatic Transmission. An original Napa Valley car. bought new at Al Lyon Motors in Napa Dolphin Grey Exterior. Black Leather Interior. 4 Speed Automatic Transmission. 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes. 126. 45 miles on it right now. I bought this 6 series in 2007. when it had about 110. 00 miles on it. I have put about 15. 00 miles on it since February of 2007. Runs very well. STARTS RIGHT UP EVERY TIME AND RUNS LIKE NEW. It 's been well cared for. I have a binder of maintenance records from the previous owner. (s) A very straight automobile. Designed to run very fast on the highway and handle very well in mountainous roads as well. Michelin Pilots. Original BBS/BMW Gold/Silver 16" wheels. No drips and don't need to add oil between oil changes. Just like our 6 cylinder 1960's Chevrolet C-10 pickup. it always runs on the cool side of the temperature gauge. Upon closer inspection it becomes apparent that the clear coat is breaking down in a couple of small areas on the hood. and the paint is starting to "thin" a bit on the trunk. A/C needs to be recharged. The interior is in very good condition sd well. K&N air performance "million mile" air filter installed. Synthetic oil every 3000 miles. The car has the original White binder fold out type owner manuals with the original salespersons card in it from 1987. Along with the original cassette player cleaner and cleaner accessories stuff in it too. A very complete and straight and clean vintage BMW. Very low asking price on a very very good condition vintage sought after model of BMW for the money. Three things left to do before the car is "just right" are.
(A)Replace the windshield due to a vertical crack on the drivers side. It was like that in 2007 when I purchased the "635. "
(B)Convert the A/C from R-12 fittings to R-134 fittings and charge with R-134.
(C)Install radio.
The above 3 items are the only things needed to make the car "fully operational. " Everything else on the car works fine. It does have working cruise control. sunroof. electric windows. electric mirrors. manual rear window privacy shade/sunshade. Windshield wipers work well. All the automated status display  to the left of the steering wheel works 100% as it should.   As does the on-board computer to the right of the steering wheel in the console/dash area. One can program a security code into the computer. and the car won't start without the correct "passcode" that you decide on. If you choose to do so. Pretty basic. but effective anti-theft device. If one prices the car on the NADA website. the website does state that "no options were offered. as these particular BMW's came as is with "all options" included. from the BMW assembly plant. The brushed and polished aluminum door thresholds are really cool looking. Very classy in my opinion.
P. S. The CARFAX (see pic) I ran on this car states this car is worth $950. 00 OVER retail price. If the economy was (normal) operating correctly. I'd ask $11. 00 for the car.
I LOVE this car. It's been very easy on our finances too. 1 tune-up and a number of oil changes in almost 6 1/2 years. over about 15. 00 miles. I have a couple of other cars and I alternate my driving among all of them.
I really DON'T WANT TO LET GO OF this nice vintage 6 series BMW.   But. I DO NEED FUNDS for my kids college expenses.
