1965 Mercedes 230SL Pagoda

Rare Manual Model

As we all know the prices of Pagodas have rocketed over the past few years and still seem to be on the increase.

This particular vehicle offers the perfect opportunity for someone to restore her back to her full potential. To save on any ambiguous answers/questions please just take her as a full restoration and anything less is to your advantage.

This is a Euro model car finished in silver with the red interior.

The doors. bonnet and boot are all generally rust free and require very little work.

The interior also seems in reasonably good condition.

The underside is not beyond repair but a welder will most definitely be needed.   Likewise there are a few areas on the body that will need repairing.

 She is largely complete with just the windscreen. headlight surrounds. soft-top and radiator being the main parts missing. Of course there will be other parts needed.

All Taxes and Import Duties have been paid and paperwork is in hand.

This is not a weekend fix but is a good opportunity for someone with the know-how and ability to put themselves a very valuable and desirable car back on the roads and potentially make themselves a good profit at the end if that is their intentions.

Before deciding what this car is worth please spend a few moments to do a Google search to ascertain what the going rate is for this model.

I doubt very much you will find a like-for-like for under £20k.

If you search further afield. and at the top end of the market. you will regularly see prices for this model exceeding £40. 00+. !!!

Nevertheless to entice a hassle free sale I have set the reserve well below the current market/insurance value. so this is definitely a bargain to be had.
