When I purchased this 911 in 2003 it ticked all the boxes for a worthwhile restoration project and future investment. The car was registered in London on 1st May 1969. and has remained in the same family (father to daughter) until I purchased the vehicle in 2003. It is completely original. low mileage. and a genuine RHD British registered example.

The LWB version was intorduced in 1969. and therefore this must be a very early example.  It also has its original 2. 0 litre air cooled flat six engine. which over coming years was increased in capacity may times.

The gearbox is also original. being a Sportomatic version. which essentially is a semi-automatic box.  

As you can see from the photos the car is 90% stripped. and work has been done on removing old paint. and some rusty sections. Some of the panels have been primed. and some haven't. which have subsequently surface rusted. despite being dry stored for 11 years.

Due to work commitments and polite reminders from my dear lady. I am no longer in a position to spend the time this car deserves. Despite the work involved this is a worthwhile project for someone with the time and enthusiasm to complete.

Car is complete. however new parts will be required.

Many spare parts included in auction E. G. panels; headlights; tailgate; passenger door. door handles; new front overriders; rear bumpers; rear quarter lights etc.

Bodywork - Front O/S inner wing requires repair. N/S rear wing requires repairs. floor generally in good condition. many areas require welding repairs.

Original colour is Olive. an optional extra from Porsche at the time.

Has historical vehicle status. therefore free road tax.

All componets are bagged up with descriptions so that the new owner should be able to identify all nuts and bolts etc.

Comes with 5 genuine Fuchs wheels.

Windscreen has large stone chip. approx. size of £1 coin.
