SELLER REMARKS

Nothing says high performance like a bright red 1969 Chevelle SS. and when you add a big block to the mix. the result is a car that will make you grin like an escaped convict every time you drive it.


There's no question that if you're going to restore a Chevelle. you may as well go all-out and add the SS upgrades that improve performance and looks. This particular hardtop features super straight sheetmetal that takes no liberties with the original design; it even still has a stock hood and it's nice to see one without the ubiquitous stripes. The '69s featured clean styling and a forward-looking stance that makes them look fast just sitting still. and the brilliant red paint certainly emphasizes that impression. Beautifully done. the paint is about a mile deep and shines the way only modern technology can. and with just a modicum of care. it will look this good for years to come. A proper SS grille has been fitted up front and SS396 badges are on the flanks and tail panel to complete the illusion. Chrome and other bright pieces have been polished up before being reinstalled. and it's all quite neatly done.


A lovely black interior anchored by matching carpets is the perfect choice. especially if you intend to spend a lot of time behind the wheel. Beautifully restored with correct new seat covers and door panels. it looks fresh and extremely tidy. The honesty of this car with its original bench seat and column shifter means that they were focusing on the important stuff. you know. the things that make it go faster. All the gauges are in good shape with clear lenses and bright markings. and the original radio has been upgraded to a digital AM/FM unit that still looks right in the 1969 dashboard. This car also came from the factory with air conditioning. which is now backed by modern components under the skin and R134a refrigerant for easy maintenance. In that sea of black upholstery. the new woodgrained steering wheel stands out. adding a touch of warmth to the otherwise all-business interior. Once glance in the trunk will also reassure you that this is a straight. clean car.


With 396 cubic inches under the hood. performance is obviously impressive. The big V8 was fully rebuilt just 150 miles ago and beautifully detailed. The open-element air cleaner funnels the air. while an Edelbrock intake and a 4-barrel carburetor handle the rest. Proper Chevy Orange paint was used on the block and heads. with bright custom aluminum valve covers spelling out 'Heartbeat in Chevy script give it a mild custom look. Power steering and power front disc brakes are always nice to have on your big block cruiser. as is the TH400 3-speed automatic transmission that makes performance as easy as planting your right foot. Underneath. there's a fresh dual exhaust system with ceramic-coated long-tube Hedman headers and throaty Flowmaster mufflers. plus a 10-bolt rear end with 3. 31 gears inside. Handsome 15-inch Torque Thrust style wheels are a timeless addition. and wear 225/70/15 Kumho radials.

TERMS OF SALE  

1. Per the eBay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.   This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
