Cabover 1970 Ford F700 Truck - Good condition - low miles- very cool

Sale price: $7,200.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "The Good:1970 Classic in basically very good condition for its age. Truck is powered by a 390 cubic inch gas engine. Recently rebuilt engine and clutch are a plus. The 5 speed transmission and 2 speed rear axle make this big buddy a tough cookie. The truck was used in dry climate arid eastern Washington State, which makes it virtually rust free. It was used as a grain truck on a government research farm and the odometer shows less than 13,000 miles. I believe it because there is hardly any wear to the vehicle. The GVW is rated up to 25,500 lbs. which makes it a big truck but you do not need a CDL to drive it. So any one can drive this truck and they do not have to hold a commercial license. The Bad:Not much here. The drivers door has a funky spot where a previous driver must have caught the mirror on something and stressed the door where the mirror is screwed into. Small 2" rip at drivers seat. Dude the truck is amazingly clean beyond this stuff."

Here is a flash from the past. I am regretfully selling my 1970 Ford F700 Cabover Flatbed Dump Truck. This truck is so cool. I am told it was used at a wheat research station in Eastern Washington. The odometer says it has less than 13k miles on it. I can believe it. This big beauty is really clean.
It has new front tires and good tires in the rear. The front wheels are new. The motor and clutch were replaced recently too. The bed measures 16 feet long by almost 8 feet wide. The sideboards are 40 inches high in this photo. You could make them higher if you want.
The paint is in great shape except where the drivers mirror is located. Looks like they caught the mirror on something and pulled the screws out. It has been refastened and functions fine now. The bed is metal lined. The springs are in great shape as are the helpers.
Now for the running gear report. It has a five speed trans with a two speed rear end. Nice! The truck seems unstoppable and has tons of power. It is powered by a 390 V8 running on gasoline. The dump mechanism is a two cylinder system and you can put that bed almost straight up. The pump is PTO powered. All the lights work and glass is good. with only one little ding.
Behemoth. as I have named it. comes with a clear title. and tonnage is paid until April. I love the truck but I now have too many vehicles and must sell it. Oh well. my loss. your gain.
