1940 Bedford MW Wartime 15cwt Army Lorry for sale

 Offered due to lack of funding to finish the restoration is my 1940 Bedford MW 15cwt.   I acquired her as a full restoration project. having been stood for some 30 yrs (undercover).   The body has been built to original dimensions/specification. using what original crossmembers and other timber as possible. and also original brackets found along the way.   The chassis has been completely stripped and painted as has all metalwork.   A new clutch plate and core plugs have been fitted and the master cylinder and 3 of 4 brake cylinders honed and re - rubbered.   (I have the rubbers for the 4th.   A recon water pump is fitted and all wiring and lights done with the exception of new battery leads are required.   I have had her running. with good oil pressure. but she needs further tinkering and setting up. The carb appears to be flooding.

So to complete the restoration she needs canvas and canvas supports. tyres or at least new tubes (the tyres have been sat for many years). tuning and some engine seting up. a final coat of paint.

She has an age related number and V5

I would love to see the truck finished. if she doesnt sell I will put her away until funds and time are available to complete. but would rather she wasnt sat gathering dust in the garage.

Of course she will need recovering as she is not quite roadworthy yet. buyer collects. cash on collection please.   Genuine callers buyers only PLEASE.
