Jeep : Other jeep

You are bidding on a very original 1952 Willys Jeep CJ3A. This little ranch jeep has been in the same family over 50 years. It is very complete. original. and does run. drive. and stop.  It also has a clear title that matches the frame stamping.  
This jeep has been in indoor storage for a number of years and just recently has been tuned up. The jeep received a new battery. plugs. soft carburetor rebuild and adjustment. fluids. and fuel system flush. The brakes were also gone through and the master cylinder rebuilt. The jeep comes with the newer tires shown on the jeep as well as a full set of 5 originals as well as a shop built bed extender that basically turns the jeep into a pickup.     Engine- The jeep has the original L134 engine that has been rebuilt within the last 800 miles to . 60 over before parked indoors.  It does have an early Ford script GPW head on it and GPW thermostat housing.  It runs strong. does not smoke. and starts up just fine.  ***When initially changing the oil after long storage I did find some separated coolant at the bottom of the oil pan. After getting the jeep running I re-torqued the head. I have ran it and check the oil a number of times and not found any signs of a coolant leak.  That said. I can not guarantee that it won't be an issue; as how it got there is a bit of a mystery to me. Personally if it did exhibit the same issue again I would use the opportunity to pull the GPW head; cash it out and acquire a correct Willys head.    
Drive train-The drivetrain is original and function almost as it should. The T90 transmission does shift fine but does often pop out of gear at a certain point. You can gently hold the stick in gear to operate the jeep smoothly. There was a gold hue to the transmission oil when checked.  
Body- The body is original. fairly straight. nbsp;fairly structurally stable. has a wonderful patina. and mostly unaltered. As far as I can tell all of the original bits including top bow assembly are on the jeep or included. Even the original canvas is there and could possibly be used as a pattern. There is a re-encfourcement welded to where the spare tire carrier mounts and a considerable dent in that same corner. There also a few extra holes in the body for stuff like additional marker lights (see pictures)  There is some rust in the floors and hat channels; but I do think it is structurally sound enough that you could definitely repair or control the rust. and really preserve. use. and enjoy the jeep as is. I should also mention that the master cylinder cover is included in great shape but I accidentally left it off when taking pictures.  
Electrical- The jeep is on the original 6v system. The headlights and brake light work but I didn't mess with the taillight which was not working. The horn does work as do some of the gauges.

Again. this is a very original unrestored CJ3A it would make an excellent foundation for a factory restoration or I you could enjoy it as is.
