Austin A40 tourer very rare find in this condition. ts been standing in a shed for over 40 years and will need full restoration. There is no major rust in the body just surface rust which would make this a fairly straight forward resto or take the body off and upgrade the running gear and leave the body alone. It does have a couple of mods done to the suspension like rear traction bars. anhard rod. owering blocks. Its pretty much complete and it looks like whats left of the paint is original.

The last picture is an example of what it could look like with hot rod treatment and is not the actual vehicle.

I am near Sydney so a way away,i really like the a40,but worry about the amount of work ? do you have more pictures like interior engine etc.is it just surface rust generally?
