Ford : Mustang GT350 Tribute

This 1965 Fastback has been thoroughly gone through. It is driven weekly around town. Less than 5000 miles since the rebuild about 1 and a half years ago. This Mustang is loved and is being sold by a mustang enthusiast to make room for a new GT California Special. The 302 is a High Output from a late 80s fox body. Holley Double Pumper 4Bbl carb. 3 row aluminum radiator with a GT 5 blade fan and does not overheat in the Nevada Desert. About 10K miles on the engine total. Standard points. Shorty headers. with new exhaust including H Pipe. flowmasters and correct trumpet tips. The engine compartment was stripped and primed. then painted with chassis black.

New wiring in the engine compartment and rear harness. all lights work and are new. It has stock 8 inch rear end. correct 4 speed toploader manual transmission. The tires are Sumitomo 205 R60 15's with less than 4000 mikes. mounted on American Racing Torque Thrust Chrome rims. It has front disc brakes with a dual chamber master cylinder. It includes the Shelby front suspension. new 4. 5 rear leafs bushings and New GTL shackles.  It has standard steering. New adjustable shocks with Heavy Duty rear coil shocks.

All new rubber throughout. including the windshield rear window. weather-stripping. door felts. roof rail rubber and seals.  Black interior with fold down rear seat. all interior trim. new headliner correctly installed with the windows out. new Hot Rod black paint inside all hardware is correct throughout the car. Center console. new wood Shelby steering wheel. and all underdash electronics have been properly gone through. no hacking (original underdash harness). new electronic AC that blows in the low 40's even when it is 110 degrees out. Custom auto sound replica. 6X9 speakers in the back. audio in and ipod in with 4 inch door speakers. 66 gauges for the GT.

New gas tank and sending unit. with new Cobra air cleaner and Cobra valve covers. correct Shelby hood. new windshield and window trim and Shelby racing mirror. The paint is less than 2 years old. using correct Shelby Blue with correct stripes painted on under the clear with the correct tapers. using pearl of essence. This Fastback is a head grabber and runs as good as you would want. No rust. as it was completely and professionally gone through during the paint process. This is a Nevada/Southern California car with clean metal everywhere.

This is an awesome local show car that you can drive and enjoy.  I get thumbs up everywhere.  The interior is really nice with lots of new stuff like the dash. seats. radio etc. but it is not perfect.  The Shelby quarter window inserts and fold down rear seat are complete but older and could use freshened up.  I am listing this with a really reasonable reserve.  Please come drive it before the auction ends.  Sold as is.  All sales are final.
