For sale my 1972 RHD Alfa Romeo GTAm Recreation. a rare car and an increasing investment these days. This time warp car has only covered 13k miles since 1972 it's been in Alfa private collections for most of its life. Built on a Giulia 105 1. 6 twin headlamp GT Junior the car was completely re-built in 1998 by the then owner to GTAm spec. The car then went on to compete many times in the Top Hat Historic Race Series. The spec includes full FIA multi-point roll cage. recaro racing seats. race harnesses and plumbed in fire suppression system rally lights and GTAm gold wheels. It fitted with up rated and lowered suspension. up rated brakes and limited slip differential. The engine is a Chris Whelan prepared 2 litre twin cam. twin spark race engine on twin Webber 45mm carburettors. Blueprinted and lightened nitrided crank. Carrillo rods and Alfetta Turbo Delta forged pistons. Cams are high lift long duration 300 degree race items mated to a polished and ported big valve cylinder head the engine producing 220bhp. The car is in very good condition with new floor pans and re-furbished brakes and gearbox. The car comes with current MOT and historic free road tax. A unique low mileage well sorted car. when did you see another one like this for sale with a full race engine fitted at this sort of price ?.
